Our commitment

The Dinu Theodorescu Archaeological Laboratory is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all people, including those with disabilities. We aim to conform to the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard across all pages of this website.

Accessibility measures

We have implemented the following measures:

• Sufficient colour contrast for legibility (minimum 4.5:1 ratio for normal text)
• Full keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are reachable with Tab
• ARIA labels and semantic roles for interface elements
• Alternative text for all images with informational content
• Correct semantic HTML structure (hierarchical headings h1-h6)
• Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation
• Responsive content that works at 200% zoom
• No content that flashes more than 3 times per second

Known limitations

We continuously work to improve accessibility. The photo gallery lightbox may present limitations for screen reader users — improvements are planned.
